Pregnancy Due Date Calculator 🤰
About This Calculator
This calculator uses Naegele's Rule to estimate your due date based on the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). It also adjusts for your specific cycle length.
What is a Pregnancy Due Date Calculator?
A Pregnancy Due Date Calculator estimates the expected delivery date (EDD) based on the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP) or conception date. While only about 5% of babies are born on their exact due date, this estimate helps healthcare providers schedule prenatal check-ups, tests, and monitor fetal development throughout the 40-week pregnancy.
Naegele's Rule
Naegele's Rule, used by most healthcare providers, assumes a 28-day menstrual cycle with ovulation occurring on day 14. The due date is calculated as 280 days (40 weeks) from the first day of the last menstrual period. For conception-based calculation, add 266 days (38 weeks).
